"Seghizza" Agriturism is built on an estate that is just 200 meters away from the right side of the river Panaro, reachable by confortable cycle ways which also connect the near village of San Cesario with the river, the horse track, the "Nature Route" (Percorso Natura) and Spilamberto.
At the right centre of the estate is a secular oak-tree, which is mentioned on the protected tree species list of the Region Emilia Romagna. All around is the fields, cut into "slices" by old cherry trees and mixed hedges.
The quite old buildings complex appear on old maps under the name "Seghizza"; the partial restyling of 2005 brought back the original structure aspects turned the old barn into a restaurant.
Our specialities are the traditional dishes of our region and area, made with our organic fruit and vegetables.
If you come around our suggestion is also to visit the old centre of San Cesario, the pre-romanic Basilica (Sec. IX), the "Villa and Rocca Boschetti" (Sec. XV - XVII) with the park.
